This body of work is an exploration of shapes and the way they fit together to create a harmonious and balanced pattern - both reflective and symbolic of finely balanced Australian ecosystems, and the way in which specific plants and animals fit together in a harmonious way. Similarly, I am always working to thicken the paint to create rich, earthy and tactile textures, reflective of the textures found within nature.

Ultimately these works are a dedication to and poetic celebration of Australian flora and fauna, at a time where fragile ecosystems need our care and protection the most. It is my hope that these paintings can serve as a moment for reflection - a reminder of what is worth valuing.
